2024 Olympics Officially Begins, Historic Opening Ceremony on the Seine River

After Greece appeared then the refugee team. Unfortunately, the event was disrupted by rain so that the athletes had to wear raincoats. Each ship was filled by only one country if the contingent was large. There were also those mixed with other countries. Indonesia itself just appeared on the ship with the Indian and Iranian contingents.

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics was divided into three parts, namely liberté, égalité, fraternité. The égalité (equality) part began with a band performance and the lighting of the Olympic flame. A number of other attractions were also presented, such as a musical performance by Lady Gaga accompanied by a dance performance.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Committee stated that the opening ceremony wanted to represent things related to France, especially the city of Paris. Thomas Jolly, the artistic director of the Paris 2024 Olympic opening ceremony, was able to describe all of these elements well.
