4 Indonesian Game Studios Prepare to Rock the World After Graduating from IGA 2024

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – The gaming industry in Indonesia continues to show significant development, with the emergence of various innovative games offering unique experiences for their players.

One of the programs playing an important role in encouraging this creativity and innovation is the Indie Games Accelerator (IGA) initiated by Google.

Through this program, the search engine giant wants to provide a platform for independent game developers to hone their skills and bring new ideas to the industry.

This year, four indie game studios will graduate from IGA 2024, and will be graduating in Bangalore, India. They are Algorocks, Dream Studio, Lentera Nusantara, and Own Games.

A Game with Deep Narrative and Unique Mechanics

One of the standout aspects of the program is the developers’ ability to create games with deep narratives and unique gameplay mechanics.

Marcus Foon, Global Head, Indie Games Accelerator at Google, highlights some examples of games produced by participants in the program.

“Dadoo from Algorox combines board and card game mechanics, while Tuyul Mantul Pinball Adventure from Lentera Nusantara presents a narrative rooted in Indonesian culture,” said Marcus.

Both games not only offer innovative game mechanics but also present interesting and in-depth stories, enriching the gaming experience.
