8 exciting Champions League matches from midnight to early morning, don’t miss them
Munich, Beritasatu.com – The Champions League entered its fifth match which took place this week. From a number of matches that will take place on Wednesday (27/11/2024) early morning WIB, there are eight exciting matches that are a shame for football fans to miss.
Here are the details:
1. Bayern Munich vs PSG (27 November 2024, 03.00 WIB) This great battle at the Allianz Arena is important to continue the ambitions of both teams. Bayern Munich is ranked 17th with six points, while PSG is ranked 25th.
The Paris Club (PSG) is under threat of failing to maintain its record of 11 consecutive Champions League group stages.
The two teams have met 13 times in the Champions League with a fairly balanced record. Bayern Munich won seven times and PSG won six times. In particular, the most memorable victory belonged to Bayern Munich with a score of 1-0 in the 2020 Champions League final.

Meanwhile, Feyenoord is in good form, winning six of its last seven matches in the domestic tournament. The Dutch representative picked up six points in the Champions League, all from away games, winning against Girona 3-2 and Benfica 3-1.
They are now aiming for a third winning streak in the Champions League for the first time in history. The two teams clashed in the 2017 Champions League group stage, with Man City winning 1-0 at home and 4-0 away.
3. Sporting vs Arsenal (27 November, 03.00 WIB)
Arsenal ended a four-game winless streak in the Premier League (two draws, two defeats), when they crushed Nottingham Forest 3-0 last weekend. Coach Mikel Arteta welcomed the return of Martin Odegaard, Riccardo Calafiori, and plans to retain Thomas Partey, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz and Declan Rice.
In contrast, Sporting just lost coach Ruben Amorim to Man United. However, new coach Joao Pereira made an impressive debut when his team crushed Amarante in the fourth round of the Portuguese Cup last weekend. He also left many key players as reserves, such as main striker Viktor Gyokeres.
The two teams met in the quarter-finals of the Europa League for the 2022/2023 season. Both rounds ended in a 3-3 draw, then Sporting won on penalties.
4. Barcelona vs Brest (27 November, 03.00 WIB)
Barcelona showed signs of slowing down when it did not win its last two games, losing 1-0 to Sociedad and drawing 2-2 with Celta Vigo, allowing rivals Real Madrid to close the gap in La Liga to four points.
Euro 2024 champion Lamine Yamal from the Spanish national team, may still be absent due to injury. However, Barcelona’s attack is still more appreciated by the development of the duo Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.
If they play well, both of them can help Barcelona tear the net against French club Brest, a team that has conceded 10 goals in its last 11 away games.
This is the first time Barcelona has met Brest in the Champions League. Brest, who represents France, is currently ranked 12th in Ligue 1 with 13 points through 12 matches.
5. Slovan Bratislava vs AC Milan (27 November, 00.45 WIB) After losing to Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan recovered by beating Real Madrid and Leverkusen with the same score 3-1 to win six points. They are ranked 20th.
Opponents Slovan Bratislava are a club from Slovakia who currently lead the local league with 35 points through 14 matches. They met Milan in the Champions League qualifying round in 1992, losing 0-1 at home in the first leg and 0-4 in the second leg.
6. Inter Milan vs RB Leipzig (27 November, 03.00 WIB)
Inter are in fifth place with 10 points, wide open to the Champions League preliminary round. Together with Atalanta, Inter is one of two teams still on the list clean sheets in the four first round matches.
They are also unbeaten in their last 11 home games in the Champions League, winning nine and keeping nine clean sheets.
Leipzig is one of five teams that have not won a point and are likely to be eliminated. They are also winless in their last four matches in all competitions, with three defeats on the road. Leipzig have never met Inter in the Champions League.

7. Bayer Leverkusen vs RB Salzburg (27 November, 03.00)
Bayer Leverkusen were a special phenomenon in European football last season, winning 43 games, drawing 9 and losing only once to Atalanta in the Europa League final. They scored 144 goals, conceded 42 times, won the Bundesliga with an unbeaten record and won the German Cup.
However, this season, Xabi Alonso and his team are no longer performing well. Currently Leverkusen is in fourth place in the Bundesliga with 20 points, nine points behind leaders Bayern Munich. They are only ranked 13th in the Champions League with seven points.
RB Salzburg, only ranked 30th in the Champions League. They have lost their last two games and are only sixth in the Austrian League, 14 points behind leaders Sturm Graz. This is the first time Bayer Leverkusen has met RB Salzburg in the Champions League.
8. Sparta Prague vs Atletico Madrid (27 November, 00.45 WIB)
Atletico Madrid is showing signs of revival, winning its last five matches in all competitions. Diego Simeone’s squad just won against Alaves to close the gap on Barcelona in La Liga to five points.
They also beat PSG 2-1 in Paris to move up to 23rd in the Champions League standings.
Meanwhile Sparta Prague have not won their last four matches in all competitions, and are two points behind Atletico in the Champions League. However they have won three of their last four home games against Spanish opponents.
The last time Atletico met the Czech club was in the 2012/2013 Europa League group stage, when they won at home against Viktoria Plzen, but then lost on the road.
