ABCripto launches new certification aimed at digital assets

THE Brazilian Cryptoeconomics Association (ABcripto) announces the launch of a new Virtual Asset Specialist Certification (CEAV). As the association explained to Todaysgist, it is “a pioneering program created to train and accredit professionals” to work in companies providing virtual asset services in Brazil.
According to ABCripto, the program aims to attract people from areas such as technology, compliance, law, audit. Furthermore, professionals and students interested in the segment can also take the CEAV.
To obtain certification, simply access the official ABCripto website and register for the test. The final test will have 30 multiple-choice questions that the candidate must answer in two hours.
To receive the CEAV, the candidate must answer at least 70% of the test. However, if the candidate obtains between 50% and 70%, he or she may retake the exam. The test will take place on the day January 20, 2025 online, which allows people from all over Brazil to participate.
New ABCripto certification
Focusing on training in fundamental concepts of cryptoeconomics, CEAV structures its exam in three main modules: fundamentals, business and regulation. In these modules, the content covers various topics related to cryptoeconomics and digital assets, such as:
Each question has four alternatives and only one is correct. There is no restriction for registrationbut ABCripto recommends that the participant has completed a higher education degree or is undergoing training.
The test modules include fundamentals as blockchain and distributed ledger technologiesdifferentiation between cryptocurrencies and tokens, operation of networks such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH); business involving services in Web3business models in exchanges, custody and DeFi (decentralized finance).
Finally, the test also covers topics such as regulation with a focus on Brazilian standards, combating money laundering and tax issues. The price of registration is R$ 199 and ABCripto members have a 50% discount. Candidates will be able to pay with Pix, bank slip, credit card or via cryptocurrencies.
Once approved, candidates must adhere to ABcripto’s Code of Ethics and Self-Regulation. Furthermore, they need to commit to the continuing education program. Registration is open and after paying the registration fee, it is possible to take the test in a controlled virtual environment.
THE preliminary result is released immediately after the exam is completed. Those approved become part of a public list of certified professionals, available on the program’s official website.
