Solo, Beritasatu.com – The 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) opened his voice regarding the dismissal of Shin Tae-yong (STY) as coach of the Indonesian National Team.

Jokowi admits that he has a close relationship with the South Korean coach. However, the decision that PSSI has made cannot be withdrawn.

If asked, I’m happy with it coaches “Shin, yes, I’m happy,” said Jokowi to the media at his residence on Jalan Kutai Utara, Sumber Village, Banjarsari District, Solo City, Central Java, Tuesday (7/1/2025).

Regarding the proposed replacement for STY, the former mayor of Solo said that PSSI had prepared this. “I think PSSI has prepared. I know the leak, but not I don’t need to reveal it. “Later, at most one or two days it will be officially announced by PSSI,” he concluded.

Jokowi emphasized that the most important thing now is that the new national team coach must be better than Shin Tae-yong. “I think the most important thing is that the next coach can be better coaches Shin,” said Jokowi.

According to him, the decision taken by PSSI had gone through careful consideration. “I think PSSI has considerations in evaluating each of our national team coaches,” he said.
