Aero and Aqsa Aswar Admit They Are Ready to Win Jet Ski Gold Medals at the 2023 SEA Games

Two Indonesian jet ski athletes, Aero Sutan Aswar together with his younger brother, Aqsa Sutan Aswar, admit that they are ready to appear at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia on May 13-16. In fact, both of them are optimistic that they can win a gold medal at this prestigious sporting event.

Aero said this when he was met in the middle of his training at Hustle, South Jakarta. The athlete who just arrived from the United States to practice jet skiing is confident that he can perform optimally in Cambodia later.

“The preparations have been training for three weeks yesterday in the US,” the 28-year-old athlete told the media Thursday (4/5/2023).

They admit that they need extra practice because they consider Thailand as the toughest competitor in the sporting event.

“Thailand is still the toughest competitor,” said Aero.

Apart from spending hours on a jet ski training, the two athletes also underwent stamina training at Hustle Jakarta’s premier athletic-based boutique fitness studio (a leading fitness studio boutique in Jakarta). For them, exercise is a necessity.

“We continue to do physical training at Hustle. It has become a necessity,” explained Aqsa.

The goal is none other than to strengthen stamina before leaving for Cambodia to compete in the SEA Games.

Both admitted that most of the classes were attended. Especially classes that prioritize physical strength and endurance.

“Most of the classes here we take part in,” said Aero, who is the 2019, 2016 and 2014 Jet Ski world champion.

“We also take various types of classes that focus on certain areas such as legs, arms, abs and cardio or the whole body which is very useful for training stamina. So we are ready and in prime condition to compete in the 2023 SEA Games,” continued Aqsa.
