Against Atalanta Three Days After the Coppa Italia Final, Inter Milan Is Inflamed

– Inter Milan is inflamed with Lega Serie A decisions with time kick-off for the league game against Atalanta, which will be played just 72 hours after the Coppa Italia Final against Fiorentina.

Nerazzurri will have a busy end to the season with three important matches namely the battle for the top four in Serie A, the Coppa Italia Final against Fiorentina and the Champions League Final against Manchester City.

Lega Serie A has confirmed the time and date kick-off for week 37 on Sunday (28/5/2023). Inter’s game against Atalanta at the San Siro comes just three days after the Coppa Italia Final in Rome.

“It is incomprehensible why they are anticipating a match that should be played on Monday,” said director Beppe Marotta, as quoted by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“By doing so, the safety of the players is threatened. They are forced to play three matches in a week, including the Coppa Italia Final which can also go to extra time,” he added.

The Coppa Italia Final will also be played 72 hours after the trip to Napoli on Sunday, 21 May 2023.

Nerazzurri are third in Serie A, three points behind Juventus and five above city rivals Milan, who are currently outside the top four.
