Ahead of Round 3 of 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, Muhammad Ferarri Chooses to Focus on Preparing Himself at Club
Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – Indonesian National Team player Muhammad Ferarri chose to focus on preparing himself with his club ahead of welcoming the 3rd round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers for the Asian zone.
As is known, the Persija Jakarta player was previously recruited by Shin Tae-yong to strengthen the Garuda squad in round 2 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, although he only ended up warming the bench.
Ferrari could also be called back when the Indonesian National Team plays in the next round of matches, which is scheduled to take place starting next September.
A series of tough opponents await the Red and White troops, with them currently in Group C with big countries such as Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and China.
Responding to that, Muhammad Ferarri admitted that he wanted to focus first with the club as a form of preparation if called to the national team. The player is optimistic that he can strengthen the Garuda Squad if he is able to maintain his physical fitness at the club.
“Maybe now it's (going to start) Liga 1, so I'm preparing more for the club. And maybe if I'm fit, God willing, I will be called (to the national team),” said Ferarri when met by the media crew at the Meet & Greet event for fans and Liga 1 players held by BRI in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (13/7/2024).
