Well-known cryptocurrency analyst “Altcoin Sherpa” published his opinion on two altcoins on X. According to Sherpa, he is closely following Chainlink (LINK) and Algorand (ALGO), which could soar up to 600% in this bull cycle .
Speaking to his 228,000 followers on Thursday (01) on his social media account, Sherpa said that even common altcoins will see big price increases. Specifically, the trader cites LINK and ALGO and says they could see gains of between 400% and 600%.
Despite being expressive, the numbers posted by the trader are within the common bullish history in the cryptocurrency market. In fact, several memecoins have offered higher returns, especially those that are in the pre-sale phases. Names like FreeDum Fighters (DUM) and Flockerz are two of the most promising options for this cycle.
According to the trader’s chart, he appears to predict that LINK will rise by over 350% to revisit its all-time highs. This appreciation can occur in two parts: in the first, LINK would gain 197% and reach a maximum of US$34.
Cryptocurrencies that could stand out in the coming months
In the second part, LINK could rise further and reach the historic top of US$52, totaling an increase of 358%.
As for ALGO, Altcoin Sherpa shares a chart suggesting that a move of more than 300% will not even take the coin close to its all-time high of $3.56.
“Market average for sh*tcoins going forward: probably about three to five times for this cycle on the low end and five to ten times for prices on the high end. Meaning: If you buy just about anything right now, I would expect it to be three to five. Here are two examples with LINK (and) SOMETHING.”
Furthermore, the trader also projected trends for Dogecoin (DOGE), the main memecoin on the market. In this sense, Sherpa thinks the altcoin is taking a break before starting a new climb.
“This is the bottom you want to see for DOGE in my opinion. A lot of volatility and a band forming”, he declared.
