Apple Releases iOS 17.6 Update, What’s New?

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – Apple has officially released the iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 updates for users. This is the sixth update for the iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 operating systems launched last year.

Quoting information from MacRumorsWednesday (31/7/2024), the iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 updates are here after iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5 were rolled out about two months ago. Users can download it directly.

Although it comes as a new update, this update does not bring any significant new features. Apple is more focused on improvements bug and increased security.

However, Apple still recommends all users to download it immediately. Because, this update is said to bring important security updates for users.

It is estimated that iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 will be the last updates presented for iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. This is because Apple will start presenting iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 in September 2024.

To perform the update, users simply select the Settings> General> Software Update menu. Along with update This time, Apple also released iOS 15.8.3 and iOS 16.7.9 for devices that don’t support iOS 17.
