Apple to Update All Macs with M4 Chip Starting Late 2024

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – Apple is reportedly set to update its entire Mac lineup with the newer M4 chip, according to Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman.

Quoting MashableFriday (9/8/2024), according to Gurman, Apple plans to launch a series of the latest Mac devices with the M4 chip in late 2024. Some of the models that are said to receive the update are the MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iMac.

While the release schedule for the MacBook Air, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro models is reportedly slightly different, the plan is for those models to get an upgrade to the M4 in 2025.

This move is considered reasonable, considering that several models such as the Mac Mini and Mac Studio did not get the M3 chip update. In addition, Apple is indeed actively promoting the advantages of the M4.

One of the things that is is the support of artificial intelligence (AI). This chip is claimed to be the most powerful Neural Engine ever made by Apple, and is able to support the latest AI features.

However, not only the update, Gurman reported, Apple will also prepare another surprise. There are indications that at least one Mac model will get a significant upgrade, not just an M4 chip update.

However, it should be noted that this report is still just a prediction. Therefore, it is interesting to wait for Apple’s official announcement regarding the Mac product line that will be released in the future.
