Arema FC Libas Persita Tangerang with a score of 3-1

Blitar, Beritasatu.com – Arema FC succeeded in beating Persita Tangerang in the continuation of the BRI Liga 1 2024/2025 season at the Soepriadi Stadium, Blitar City, Tuesday (3/12/2024). Singo Edan pocketed three points after crushing Persita Tangerang with a final score of 3-1.

Arema FC’s goals came from Dedik Setiawan in the 43rd minute, Dalberto Luan Belo in the 54th minute and Carles Lokoli Ngoy at the end of the match in the 90+5 minute.

Due to this result, Arema FC coach Joel Cornelli is very happy that his team was able to get three points in the home match. He said, many players were given the opportunity to play and were able to show their quality.

“We are happy because Arema won 3-0 because many players when given the opportunity played extraordinary,” said Cornelli.

Cornelli discussed the condition of the grass at the Soepriadi Stadium which was damaged in several parts. He said, if the condition of the grass was better, it would be certain that Arema’s game would be of higher quality.

“The problem with the field situation is that the coach actually doesn’t want to comment. However, in the future, if the field is good, Arema’s players will definitely be better,” he said.

With the existing grass conditions, he instructed the players to remain focused on bringing positive results for Arema FC.

“We told the players that everyone was focused even though the field was like this. Everything went according to plan and we got three points,” he added.

Previously, the condition of the grass at the Soepria Stadium in Blitar City was complained about by the coach of the opposing team, Persita Tangerang, Fabio Lefundes.

He said that the condition of the grass at Soepriadi Stadium was the worst during Persita Tangerang’s 2024/2025 League 1 season.

“We have played in Jakarta, Bogor, Bali, Bangkalan, all in good condition but here it is bad. I really regret this, it can make players unable to show their best abilities,” said Lafuendes.

On the way, the Soepriadi Stadium in Blitar City experienced grass damage even though repairs had previously been carried out.

It is suspected that the grass at the Soepriadi Stadium was damaged after it was used to host the U-17 Soeratin Cup competition which will be held on 16-21 November 2024.

The damage was caused by the high intensity of the match in the middle of the rainy season, which made the field muddy, even revealing a layer of sand under the grass.
