Argentinian Regulators Learn from El Salvador, Make Bitcoin a Payment Tool

The prices of Bitcoin and other top cryptocurrencies were observed to experience mixed movements on Friday (31/5/2024). The majority of top cryptocurrencies were observed to be in the red zone again.

Based on data from Coinmarketcap, the cryptocurrency with the largest market capitalization, Bitcoin (BTC), is strengthening again. Bitcoin rose 1.17 percent in 24 hours and 0.88 percent on the week.

Currently, the price of Bitcoin is at USD 68,359 or the equivalent of IDR 1.10 billion (assuming an exchange rate of IDR 16,229 per US dollar).

Ethereum (ETH) weakened again. ETH fell 0.51 percent in the past day and 0.33 percent in the week. That way, currently ETH crypto is at the level of IDR 62.82 million per coin.

The next crypto, Binance coin (BNB) corrected again. In the last 24 hours BNB fell 0.03 percent and 0.46 percent a week. This makes BNB priced at IDR 9.65 million per coin.

Then Cardano (ADA) was back in the red zone. ADA fell 1.07 percent in the last 24 hours and 3.95 percent on the week. That way, ADA is at the level of IDR 7,254 per coin.

Meanwhile, Solana (SOL) weakened again. SOL fell 0.54 percent in a day and 5.18 percent in a week. Currently, the price of SOL is at IDR 2.71 million per coin.

XRP was observed to be in the red zone again. XRP fell 0.76 percent in 24 hours and 1.78 percent in the week. In this way, XRP is now priced at IDR 8,429 per coin.

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) is weakening again. In the last day DOGE fell 2.48 percent and 0.04 percent a week. This makes DOGE trade at IDR 2,592 per token.

Today's crypto prices, stablecoin Tether (USDT) and USD coin (USDC) both strengthened 0.01 percent. This means that the prices of both of them remain at the USD 1.00 level

Meanwhile, Binance USD (BUSD) strengthened 0.01 percent in the last 24 hours, leaving its price still at the USD 1.00 level.

Meanwhile, today's overall crypto market capitalization is at USD 2.54 trillion or the equivalent of IDR 41,252 trillion.
