Axioo and GEAR Computer Inaugurate Virtual Lab, Helping Eradicate Technological Illiteracy in Indonesia

Todaysgist.com, Kuningan – PT Tera Data Indonusa as the owner of the Axioo laptop brand, inaugurated the first Intelligent Desktop Virtualization (IDV) computer laboratory class in Indonesia. This lab is a collaboration with PT Indo Mega Vision.

The first IDV laboratory class was held at SMK Pertiwi, Kuningan, West Java with the support of Intel Corporation and a number of other companies.

In addition to supporting computer learning, this laboratory also supports government efforts to eradicate technological illiteracy in Indonesia.

Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Partnership of PT Tera Data Indonusa, Timmy Theopelus, said that one of the reasons why the number of technological illiteracy in Indonesia is high is the limited ownership of computers compared to other countries.

This is inseparable from the limited budget and high electricity bills that are a problem for many schools in Indonesia, especially in remote areas.

Therefore, technological illiteracy is one of the main challenges that must be resolved immediately to achieve Indonesia’s golden generation in 2045.

The presence of the IDV laboratory at SMK Pertiwi Kuningan aims to help provide solutions for schools that have limited funds and electricity to be able to have a computer laboratory with adequate specifications but still energy efficient.

Just for information, Intel Intelligent Desktop Virtualization technology or abbreviated as IDV is currently implemented by GEAR Computer products, namely GEAR VLab and Axioo with Axioo EzyLinX.
