Baekhyun EXO caught vaping indoors, agency apologizes and says he was having fun chatting

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta A video featuring EXO’s Baekhyun recently went viral and sparked controversy. The footage shows the singer of “UN Village” vaping in a restaurant in Macau.

Reported Soompi, Monday (16/9/2024), in the recording, Baekhyun and several people who are suspected to be his staff, are in the corner enjoying vape.

Reported by Allkpop, the exact date and location of the video are unknown. The uploader only included the caption, “EXO’s Byun Baekhyun caught smoking indoors.”

This incident of vaping indoors immediately drew disappointment from South Korean netizens.

“At the restaurant??” wrote a netizen.

“Seriously, artists need to be educated about the indoor smoking ban,” another word.

There are also netizens who wrote, “Why are celebrities like this?”

Baekhyun’s agency, INB100, also released a statement and apology for the incident.

“We sincerely apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable due to the indoor smoking controversy involving our artist Baekhyun,” the agency said in its opening statement.
