Bahrain’s ranking is higher but the price of Indonesian players is more expensive

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Bahrain’s ranking is indeed higher than the Indonesian National Team in the FIFA rankings, but the total price squad Garuda is more expensive than its potential opponent.

Indonesia will meet hosts Bahrain in the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying match in the Asian zone on Thursday (10/10/2024). The match in Group C is planned to be held at the Bahrain National Stadium in Riffa starting at 23.00 WIB.

Bahrain currently occupies 76th position in the FIFA ranking list. This is quite different from Indonesia which is currently ranked 129th. This list was released by FIFA on September 19 2024.

However, squad Indonesia apparently has quite a price compared to Dragan Talajic’s troops. Combined, the price of the Red and White squad is worth IDR 426.28 billion. Meanwhile, the Bahrain players are worth IDR 158.17 billion.

In terms of age, Indonesian players also have a younger average age in comparison squad Bahrain. Shin Tae-yong’s troops have an average age of 25 years. The oldest player in the game squad Garuda is defender Jordi Amat who is 32 years old. This naturalized player has defended Indonesia 19 times.

Meanwhile, the youngest player is Marselino Ferdinan, who is only 20 years old and has played for the senior Indonesian national team 28 times. Hokky Caraka is also only 20 years old, only a month different from Marselino. Hokky is recorded as having defended the Indonesian national team seven times.

Temporary squad Bahrain has an average age older than Indonesian troops, namely 29.2 years. The oldest player in the Bahrain squad is goalkeeper Sayed Mohammed Jaffer, who is 39 years old. This goalkeeper has represented his country 162 times.

Meanwhile, the youngest player, namely midfielder Sayed Sarraf, is only 21 years old. This Al-Ahli club player has never appeared for his country.
