Barcelona Reach Personal Agreement with Dani Olmo
Jakarta, Todaysgist.com – Barcelona have reportedly reached personal terms with Spanish midfielder Dani Olmo and are now ready to submit a formal offer to RB Leipzig.
This news was conveyed by European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Thursday (1/8/2028).
“Barcelona and Olmo have agreed personal terms on a six-year contract until the summer of 2030,” Romano wrote on his social media accounts.
Romano also stated that Barcelona will submit an offer of 55 million euros (Rp. 966 billion) plus a potential bonus of 7 million euros (around Rp. 122 billion).
Olmo himself is a graduate of Barcelona’s La Masia academy and is reportedly keen to return to play for his former club.
Currently, he has not joined any squad Leipzig for pre-season after leading Spain to Euro 2024 glory. However, it is not yet certain whether the Bundesliga club will accept a new offer from Barcelona.
Dani Olmo still has a contract with RB Leipzig until 2027. Since joining from Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb in 2020, Olmo has made 148 appearances and scored 29 goals in all competitions.
Olmo also managed to win two DFB Pokal trophies and one DFB Super Cup for the Bundesliga club.
Barcelona have made the 26-year-old midfielder their top target after Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, but Williams is reportedly set to stay at Bilbao for at least another year before deciding on his future.
