A trader turned an investment from $17,000 in profit of approximately $1.25 million in just eight minutes by purchasing 268.12 million Hive AI (BUZZ), a newly launched token that quickly appreciated from US$0.0025 to US$0.04. Token was launched at 11pm on the 2nd and users of the Hive network regret having missed the opportunity to participate in the token’s airdrop because they were asleep, prompting the project’s airdrop announcement.

In recent years, cryptocurrencies have gone from an obscure and little-known investment niche to one of the most sought after markets by traditional investors. That success can be credited to the account of the fund managers who, in 2024, created the Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFspaving the way for an institutionalization of the cryptocurrency sector.

The token, derived from an Artificial Intelligence project called Hive AI, was created on SOLANA’s Pump.fun memecoin platform and shared with the public at around 11pm on the 2nd. Launched at a value of around US$0.0025, the token quickly appreciated, reaching US$0.04, just 12 hours after its release. An investment return rate of around 1,500%.

With the success of the token and the virality of the trader’s story, many network users Hive regretted the announcement of the token launch taking place in the early hours of the morning.
