Bend Patience/Reza, Fajar/Rian Not Satisfied

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Men’s doubles Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto admitted that they were not satisfied with their performance when they defeated fellow Indonesians Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani in their first match at the 2024 BWF World Tour Finals championship, Wednesday (12/12/2024).

Fajar/Rian won with a score of 28-26 and 21-18. They won in 57 minutes.

In the preliminary round of Group B BWF World Tour Finals 2024, Fajar/Rian will meet Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik from Malaysia on Thursday (12/11/2024) and He Jiting/Ren Xiangyu from China on Friday (13/12/2023) .

“First of all, thank God, we were able to win. It’s not easy because Sabar/Reza are on the rise, their achievements this year are extraordinary. “They have high self-confidence,” said Fajar.

Even though he won, Fajar admitted that he was not satisfied because he still made a lot of his own mistakes. They haven’t found the best game yet. Fajar admitted that he was lucky because in the first game he was able to win after going through seven times settings.

“Sabar/Reza being able to qualify for the World Tour Finals is a very good achievement. They are outside national training with limited facilities and sparring partners but can prove themselves. Kudos to them. “In terms of their game, they have also made a lot of progress,” said Fajar again.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Rian Ardianto emphasized that he learned from experience because he had been in a position like this quite often. “Be superior, be overtaken and then fight settingsso we try to stay focused, not rush to kill and look for ways to get points,” he explained after the BWF World Tour Finals match.
