Binance and Bitget Prepare Major Launch on Solana

Last Tuesday, August 29, Binance caused quite a stir in the cryptocurrency community by publishing a mysterious tweet with just five characters: “BNSOL”.

This cryptic post quickly sparked curiosity and sparked a wave of speculation among crypto enthusiasts. Could this be a hint at a new partnership between Binance and Solana? To add to the mystery, another tweet appeared shortly after, containing the message “Coming soon.” This left the community even more eager for answers.

Curiosity surrounding the announcement reached new heights when exchange Bitget also joined the trend, posting a similar tweet, but with an additional detail: “Something big is coming (eyes emoji) #BGSOL.”

While both exchanges have yet to reveal concrete details, the direct involvement with Solana suggests that something significant is in the works.

Binance, Bitget and Solana

The crypto community quickly began trying to decipher what these publications could mean. Some theories point to the launch of a new token in collaboration with Solana. Meanwhile, others speculate about the creation of an innovative liquidity product.

Solana’s response to Binance’s tweet, with a simple eyes emoji, only increased the doubts: was it an invitation to stay alert or a hint to expect something big?

Upon further investigation, a page on Solana Compass, a Solana analysis and education tool, revealed the existence of a project called BNSOL.

Available information suggests that this is a Solana staking-related product, with a pool of 12.98 Sol already allocated to a staked validator. This indicates that both Binance and Bitget are collaborating with Solana to launch a new staking product, possibly with unique features that combine liquidity and flexibility.

Traditionally, when users stake their crypto assets, they are locked for a specific period of time. However, rumors suggest that the new product could allow users to stake their Solana while keeping their assets unlocked, allowing them to continue earning profits without losing the liquidity of their investments.

Although official details are yet to be released, the possibility of a new hybrid staking model has certainly caught the attention of many investors.
