Binance launches its third airdrop to reward BNB users

This Monday (9), Binance announced the launch of its third airdrop as part of the Binance HODLer Airdrops program.
The initiative aims to reward users who keep their BNB, the platform’s native cryptocurrency, in Simple Earn, Flexible or Locked products.
This time, The airdrop will distribute MOVE tokens, native assets of the Movement project, which will soon be listed on Binance. According to the official announcement, MOVE is the “first Move-EVM L2 for Ethereum”, a technology that combines the security of Move with the flexibility of the Ethereum ecosystem.
Eligible users will receive the tokens directly into their spot wallets before official trading begins.
Airdrop on Binance
To participate, users must have their BNB subscribed to qualifying products between December 2, 2024, and December 5, 2024. Binance plans to distribute a total of 200 million MOVE, representing 2% of the token’s maximum supply, which is 10 billion.
MOVE is currently trading at US$0.61, reaching a market capitalization of US$1.3 billion, with a trading volume of USE 441 million in the first few hours after its launch.
Binance also announced that MOVE/BTC, MOVE/USDT, MOVE/BNB, MOVE/FDUSD, and MOVE/TRY trading pairs will be available soon. Details can be found on the official MOVE HODLer airdrop page.
Launched in June 2024, the Binance HODLer Airdrops program rewards BNB users retroactively, without requiring continuous actions. This model offers a simple way to earn additional tokens.
Binance highlighted that the tokens distributed are generally from emerging projects that are not yet listed on the platform, but will be added soon.
The first project presented was Banana Gun (BANANA), a token from the Banana Gun bot ecosystemwhich offers trading tools for on-chain tokens. Users who signed up their BNB to Simple Earn products between June 22 and July 5, 2024 received BANANA airdrops.
