Binance will airdrop 22 billion DOGS: find out how to win

Binance has announced the launch of the Dogs (DOGS) memecoin as the 57th project on its Launchpool. Created on the TON network, the memecoin operates within the Telegram community and will be on the network starting next Monday (28).

Launchpool is one of Binance’s main tools and the launch of a token there as a boost for various projects to gain traction in the community. In this sense, Binance also stated that it will distribute 22 billion DOGS within the Launchpool framework.

Binance Launchpool integrates DOGS

According to Binance, DOGS is the 57th project launched on Launchpool since its inception. Furthermore, the move makes the exchange the first major platform to list DOGS since its launch.

Trading of the memecoin will begin on August 26 with four trading pairs: USDT, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY. But users can earn tokens even earlier

“IMPORTANT: Binance will be the first platform to list the token mentioned here, with trading starting on 2024-08-26 12:00 (UTC). Any claims of offering this token for sale before the stated schedule are false advertising. Please do your research to ensure the safety of your funds!”

To earn a share of the 22 billion DOGS, Binance users must stake BNB between August 23 and 25. FDUSD staking is also a requirement to receive DOGS. In total, the supply will be 550 billion DOGS, while the token rewards from the launch pool will be 22 billion.

In other words, the airdrop represents 4% of the memecoin’s total supply. Staking in BNB and FDUSD yields rewards with the exchange noting that the former will be responsible for 85%, while the latter, 15%.

However, the airdrop is not available to all Binance customers. Users from countries such as Canada, the United States, Cuba, and the United Kingdom will not be eligible to participate in the airdrop distribution.

What is DOGS?

According to the project description, DOGS is inspired by Spotty, a mascot created by TON founder Pavel Durov for the Telegram community. This memecoin has gained huge attention and many consider it to be TON’s main bet for the new bull cycle.

Recently, OKEx also released pre-launch trading for DOGS, which brings a democratic proposal. In this sense, the memecoin promises to distribute the majority of its tokens to the community, especially to those who are involved in the ecosystem.

“Snapshots of user balances and total pool balances will be taken multiple times at any time every hour to obtain average hourly user balances and calculate user rewards. User rewards will be updated every hour,” Binance explained.
