You Bitcoin ETFs faced significant outflows of almost US$388 million between December 23rd and 27th. Meanwhile, the Ethereum ETFs had an opposite movement, registering inflows of US$ 349 million in the same period.

While the general outlook for Bitcoin ETFs has been decline the Fidelity FBTC stood out specifically with a weekly stream of US$183 million .

This performance, according to data from So So Value, highlights the difficulty of interpreting general investor sentiment during the Christmas period. Even so, the total value of assets under management of Bitcoin ETFs has fallen to US$ 106.683 billion indicating that investors may be reevaluating their positions due to market uncertainties.

On the other hand, the Ethereum ETFs attracted an increasing flow of capital, indicating a renewed interest in the promising ETH ecosystem .

Investors return to Ethereum

Among the highlights, the ETHA by BlackRock led with a ticket of US$182 million closely followed by Fidelity FETH which accumulated US$160 million . These numbers indicate growing confidence in Ethereum’s potential as a strategic asset.

Analysts, like Eugene Ng highlight that interest in ETH is not something new. According to him, the platform stands out for its specificities and should continue to attract significant capital in the coming years.

Specialists, such as CK Zheng predict that inflows into Ethereum ETFs could increase dramatically by 2025 . This may be driven by more developed regulations for cryptoassets, if a new North American government adopts a more sector-friendly stance.
