The founder of the global investment firm from the United States, Skybridge Capital, Anthony Scaramucci said that he is optimistic that US Vice President Kamala Harris will be open to the crypto industry, following her nomination in the 2024 election.

“Harris has been vocal both privately and publicly (even considering her speech at the Bitcoin conference) that she is open-minded about crypto,” Scaramucci said, as quoted by News.bitcoin.com, Sunday (7/28/2024).

Scaramucci said he disagreed with some reports that the US government under Kamala Harris would not support crypto.

Skybridge founder predicts that US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Gary Gensler will be fired and Senator Warren will be sidelined if Harris becomes US President.

On the other hand, Scaramucci predicted that SEC Chairman Gary Gensler’s term would not be extended and Senator Elizabeth Warren would be sidelined as head of financial services in a Harris administration if she is elected US President.

“Gensler will be fired and Warren will be replaced as head of financial services in a Harris administration. Let’s keep crypto bipartisan, it will be healthier for the ecosystem in the long run.

As is known, crypto activists are waiting for clarity from Kamala Harris regarding her openness to the industry, after she officially replaced incumbent Joe Biden as the US presidential candidate in the 2024 election.
