Bonuses Continue to Flow for 2024 Olympic Medal Winners, BUMN Gives IDR 6 Billion

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta- The three Indonesian athletes who won medals at the 2024 Olympics continue to be flooded with bonuses. After the government and several private companies, now they are getting big bonuses from several state-owned companies. The total bonus reaches IDR 6 billion.

The handover of bonuses by several state-owned companies to Veddriq Leonardo, Rizki Juniansyah and Gregoria Mariska Tunjung was given on Monday (2/9/2024) evening WIB at Pos Bloc, Central Jakarta, at an event entitled ‘2024 Olympic Appreciation Night’.

Veddriq and Rizki who presented gold medals in Paris received a bonus of Rp 2.5 billion. While Gregoria who won bronze was rewarded with a bonus of Rp 1 billion.

The bonus details are Rp1 billion in cash and a house worth Rp1.5 billion for Rizki and Veddriq. While Gregoria received Rp500 million in cash and a house worth Rp500 million. This bonus was given by five state-owned companies, namely Pupuk Indonesia, Semen Indonesia Group, BSI, BNI and BTN.

The bonus was given by Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir accompanied by the top brass of the five state-owned companies.

“This is our effort to continue participating in building Indonesia’s future. These are good examples of when we can provide a fighting spirit. Remember that the majority of Indonesia’s population is young, so their fighting spirit must be boosted,” said Erick Thohir in his speech.
