Bruno Fernandes Admits He Was Tempted to Leave Manchester United

Fernandes has shown his best performance with MU since being brought in from Sporting CP Portugal in January 2020. Even so, the team’s collective achievements so far have only been limited to domestic cup competitions.

On the other hand, Fernandes watched his national team colleagues, such as Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva, win the Premier League and Champions League titles with Manchester City.

But after discussions with the club’s top brass, he expressed his belief that the Red Devils have similar potential.

“From my discussions with the board and football manager, it is clear how determined everyone is to challenge for major trophies in the years to come. I can see how positive the future is and I am excited to lead this team forward,” he said in a club statement, as quoted by ESPN.
