Budisatrio Becomes Sole Candidate for Perbasi Chairman 2024-2028

Jakarta, Todaysgist.com – The head of the Indonesian Basketball Association (Perbasi) general chairman candidate selection team, Setia Dharma Madjid, said that Budisatrio Djiwandono was the sole candidate for the 2024-2028 Perbasi general chairman candidate exchange. Of the two candidates who took the form, only Budisatrio Djiwandono returned it by the end of the closing time for returns.

Budisatrio Djiwandono returned the form on Friday (20/9/2024). When returning the form, Budi was accompanied by 18 provincial representatives. In the documents submitted to the selection team, there were 28 letters of support from provincial administrators. All were submitted together with the registration form in one folder.

Setia Dharma Madjid immediately received the documents from Budi, who is the deputy chairman of Commission IV of the DPR. Meanwhile, Yos Paguno, who had taken the form directly to the Perbasi office on the 8th floor of the GBK Arena Senayan, did not return his nomination form.

“After the form submission closes on September 23, 2024 at 17.00 WIB, it will be continued with verification of all documents until September 25, 2024. We will see the validity of the support letter and other documents,” Dharma told reporters on Tuesday (24/9/2024).

Meanwhile, Secretary General of PP Perbasi Nirmala Dewi expressed her gratitude to all parties who ensured that all processes ran smoothly and conducively in the stages leading to the national conference so far.

“Perbasi gives its highest appreciation to all parties who have contributed and helped smooth the process of the stages leading to the national conference on October 28-30, 2024. We hope for an atmosphere of togetherness and working together for the good and better achievements of Indonesian basketball in the future,” he continued.
