Burning Sun Surabaya Commotion Reaches South Korea, Seungri Denies Attending and Doesn’t Even Know Where It Is

The event planner from East Java shared a poster for an event titled Burning Sun Surabaya which will be held on August 31 at an entertainment venue in the city.
As is known, Burning Sun is a nightclub in South Korea that is co-owned by Seungri, ex-Bigbang. Starting from a case of abuse, this incident developed into a mega-scandal related to sexual violence to corruption in the South Korean police.
It is no surprise that the announcement of the Burning Sun Surabaya event immediately drew negative reactions from netizens.
Moreover, this upload also features a photo of Seungri with the caption in the photo as “Best Honor.” Because of this, some people—including a number of media—reported that the former Bigbang member would appear as a guest star at this event.
The commotion about this event apparently reached South Korea—even Seungri’s ears.
This news was denied by Seungri, conveyed to South Korean media. Ilgan Sports. Seungri doesn’t even know where the event in question is located.
