THE Bybitsecond largest exchange cryptocurrencies of the world, officially launched its physical card for Brazilian customers. With the Mastercard brand, users can make payments in cryptocurrencies with up to 2% cashback and yield of up to 8% APR (Annual Percentage Rate).

The initiative, available to users who already have the virtual card, aims to expand access to innovative financial solutions in Brazil.

With 60 million users worldwide, ByBit arrived in Brazil in April 2022. At the time, the exchange announced an investment of US$50 million for its operations in the country.

One of the investment focuses of the Dubai-based company was creation of new products for Brazilian customers. Now, the official launch of the physical card for customers residing in Brazil meets these objectives.

Bybit makes investment in Brazil

In this way, Brazilians unite with users of the Argentina, Switzerland, Australia, Kazakhstan and some European countrieswho had access to the exchange card.

According to the statement, any Brazilian user of the exchange who already has the virtual card can request the Brazil Bybit Physical Card. To request the virtual card, users must go through the identity verification process, known as KYC. You must send proof of identity, such as ID and driver’s license.

However, the exchange also may request additional documents such as income tax, income declaration, paycheck, deed of assets and values, among others.

The card has no maintenance fees, but charges 1.5% exchange fee, plus 0.9% for cryptocurrency conversion. Furthermore, the exchange is committed to issuing and delivering cards to customers without additional charges. The card has the same yield policy of up to 8% APR than the virtual card.

Compatible with Apple Play and Google Playthe card is a result of the partnership with the startup Pomelo and is accepted in more than 90 million partner establishments of the Mastercard network, the card’s brand. The supported cryptocurrencies are BTC, ETH, XRP, USDT, USDC and TON, in addition to the national currency, the Real.

It is possible to select up to six cryptocurrencies to make payments with the card. The default card order is USDT > USDC > TON > BTC > ETH > XRP, which can be changed directly in the app or via the website. Card users receive 2% cashback converted into USDT, BTC and ETC cryptocurrencies.
