Two memecoins had a strong increase this Monday (17): Simon’s Cat (CAT) and Pudgy Penguin (PENGU). THE CAT, for example, shot up more than 50% and reached its all-time high following the news.
This happened because Binance listed both tokens on its airdrop platform called “Binance HODLer”, which was also an exchange launch. Among the main tokens launched are CAT and PENGUwhich were the 4th and 5th projects of Binance airdrops, respectively.
Interestingly, the team put eligibility criteria very simple and easy to claim these tokens. This caused demand to rise in value and tokens to break price records.

Binance HODLer airdrop schedule and listing
The listing of CAT and PENGU on Binance HODLer will come with an airdrop on the Binance HODLer airdrop with eligible users. According to the advertisement, the exchange will list the CAT token at 06:00 on the 17th (Brasília time).
Most importantly, the user will be able to trade in trading pairs against USDT, BNB, FDUSD and TRY pairs. Already PENGU listing will take place a little later, at 11amwith USDT, BNB, FDUSD and TRY trading pairs.
In the case of PENGU, the token will be marked with the tag SEED to inform the investor that they are in their early stage of negotiation. This tag indicates that the project is high risk and requires studies before any purchase.
Only the people who subscribed to Binance’s Simple Earn products between December 9th and December 12th, 2024will be able to receive the CAT airdrop. Here, eligible users will receive 1.143 trillion tokens, or about 12% of the maximum supply.
On the other hand, In the PENGU airdrop, eligible users will receive 2.67 billion tokensor about 3% of the maximum supply. Binance will send airdrop details to eligible customers within the next 12 hours.
The company’s customers will receive their designated token in their wallets one hour before the listing.
