China Open 2024 Draw Results: 1 Indonesian Representative Confirmed to be Defeated in the First Round

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – The 2024 China Open will be held at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in Changzhou from September 17 to 22. It is the main event of the 2024 BWF World Tour after the Paris Olympics.

Top players, especially from China, returned after competing in France. These included men’s doubles Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang and Zheng Si Wei/Huang Ya Qiong.

Indonesia sent a total of 10 representatives to this Super 1000 level badminton event. Almost all numbers have mainstays, minus the women’s doubles.

The 2024 China Open draw will only take place once, unlike previous tournaments which were repeated due to withdrawals.

The draw results were not favorable for the Red and White contingent. One representative was confirmed to be eliminated in the first round because Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo had to elbow each other in the round of 32.

“Quite happy with my performance this week. Hopefully I can do better at the China Open,” said Ginting, who reached the semifinals of the 2024 Hong Kong Open last week.
