The England international player’s series of goals occurred within a span of 20 minutes in the Chelsea vs Brighton match at Stamford Bridge Stadium, Saturday (28/9/2024). Chelsea won 4-2.
Palmer scored four goals in the Chelsea vs Brighton match in the 21st, 28th, 31st and 41st minutes. Brighton’s two goals were scored by Georgino Rutter in the seventh minute and Carlos Baleba after 34 minutes of the match.
No player has ever scored so many goals before the end of the first half in a single match.
He also scored four goals for Chelsea last season in a 6-0 win over Everton in April, also at home.
Cole Palmer joined Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink in scoring at least three goals in a game three times for Chelsea in the league.
The match against Brighton was Cole Palmer’s 39th league appearance for Chelsea after joining from Manchester City in the summer of 2023.
