Complaining About the High Cost of League 1, Persik Kediri Organizing Committee Increases Ticket Prices at Brawijaya Stadium

Kediri, Todaysgist.com – The high cost of participating in the 2024-2025 Indonesian League 1 competition has made the Persik Kediri club increase the price of match tickets at the Brawijaya Stadium in Kediri, East Java.

Chairman of the Persik Kediri Organizing Committee, Tri Widodo, said the club and the organizing committee did not have many options to increase ticket prices for supporters. The ticket price increase was needed to help increase finances within the club.

The reason is that the cost of participating in League 1 is high, so we have no choice but to increase ticket prices,” Widodo told Todaysgist.com, Friday (9/8/2024).

Widodo explained that the ticket price for the home game of Liga 1 Persik Kediri increased by Rp10,000 for each category. For economy tickets from the original price of Rp65,000 increased to Rp75,000. The main stand from Rp100,000 to Rp110,000. VIP from Rp125,000 increased to Rp135,000.

Along with the increase, he said the price of the match ticket is already included in the accident insurance. If an accident occurs while watching the League 1 match at Brawijaya Stadium Kediri, the cost of supporter treatment has been covered by the insurance.

“Later, supporters will get accident insurance,” he explained.

Widodo said that the organizing committee had opened ticket reservations for the home match between hosts Persik Kediri and Bali United at Brawijaya Stadium, since Thursday (8/8/2024).

Persik Kediri will play their first match of League I 2024/2025 against Bali United at Brawijaya Stadium on August 11, 2024.
