Crypto Firm FTX Goes Bankrupt, Must Pay IDR 205 Trillion to CFTC

Bitcoin and other top crypto prices were seen experiencing mixed movements on Wednesday (7/17/2024). The majority of top cryptos were seen still in the green zone.

Based on data from Coinmarketcap, the crypto with the largest market capitalization, Bitcoin (BTC) is still strengthening. Bitcoin rose 1.02 percent in 24 hours and 12.78 percent in a week.

Currently, the price of Bitcoin is at USD 65,298 or equivalent to IDR 1.05 billion (assuming an exchange rate of IDR 16,164 per US dollar).

Ethereum (ETH) is weakening again. ETH fell 1.02 percent in the past day, but is still up 12.80 percent for the week. With that, ETH is currently at the level of Rp 55.8 million per coin.

The next crypto, Binance coin (BNB) weakened again. In the last 24 hours BNB corrected 1.40 percent, but still strengthened 11.80 percent a week. That makes BNB priced at IDR 9.32 million per coin.

Then Cardano (ADA) is back in the green zone. ADA is up 0.95 percent in the last 24 hours and 16.88 percent in a week. With that, ADA is at the level of Rp 7,085 per coin.

Meanwhile, Solana (SOL) is still strengthening. SOL flew 1.34 percent in a day and 14.01 percent in a week. Currently, the price of SOL is at the level of IDR 2.60 million per coin.

XRP is seen back in the green zone. XRP strengthened 8.15 percent in 24 hours and 33.06 percent in a week. With that, XRP is now priced at IDR 9,378 per coin.
