Crypto Investors Beat Stocks, Many People Want to Get Rich Quick?

Previously, the number of crypto investors continued to grow. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) revealed that the number of crypto investors increased to 20.24 million investors by June 2024. This number is more than the capital market investors of 13 million.

Regarding this, the Chief Executive of the Financial Sector Technology Innovation Supervisory Agency, Digital Financial Assets and Crypto Assets of OJK, Hasan Fawzi said that the rate of adaptation of domestic crypto investors was indeed very fast.

“This is marked by Indonesia becoming the country with the 7th largest number of crypto investors in the world in 2023,” said Hasan in a press conference on the Financial Services Sector Assessment & OJK Policy Results of the Monthly RDK July 2024, Monday, August 5, 2024.

Even according to global crypto adoption data in a global perspective, Indonesia is ranked 5th. This shows great interest in crypto assets.

On the other hand, based on surveys from various sources related to the adoption of crypto assets including Indonesia, the group of crypto asset investors in the country is still in the early stage category.
