Crypto Price Today August 16, 2024: Bitcoin et al Continue Weakening

Todaysgist, News Bitcoin and other top crypto prices were seen experiencing uniform movements on Friday (8/16/2024). The majority of top cryptos were seen back in the red zone.

According to data from Coinmarketcap, the crypto with the largest market capitalization, Bitcoin (BTC) is still weakening. Bitcoin fell 1.89 percent in 24 hours and 6.53 percent in a week.

Currently, the price of Bitcoin is at USD 57,818 per or equivalent to IDR 911.9 million (assuming an exchange rate of IDR 15,773 per US dollar).

Ethereum (ETH) is still weakening. ETH fell 3.26 percent in the past day and 3.69 percent in the week. That means ETH is currently at Rp 40.7 million per coin.

The next crypto, Binance coin (BNB) weakened again. In the last 24 hours BNB corrected 0.61 percent, but is still green 0.71 percent a week. That makes BNB priced at IDR 8.23 ​​million per coin.

Then Cardano (ADA) is back in the red zone. ADA has dropped 2.76 percent in the last 24 hours and 7.12 percent in a week. With that, ADA is at the level of Rp 5,149 per coin.

Meanwhile, Solana (SOL) also weakened. SOL plunged 0.17 percent in a day and 10.56 percent in a week. Currently, the price of SOL is at the level of IDR 2.26 million per coin.

XRP is seen back in the red zone. XRP plunged 1.30 percent in 24 hours and 8.52 percent in a week. With that, XRP is now priced at IDR 8,867 per coin.

Dogecoin Meme Coin

Meme Coin Dogecoin (DOGE) is still correcting. In the last day DOGE fell 2.19 percent and 5.64 percent in a week. This makes DOGE traded at the level of Rp 1,585 per token.

Stablecoin Tether (USDT) and USD coin (USDC), both strengthened by 0.01 percent today. This makes the price of both still remain at the level of USD 1.00

Meanwhile, Binance USD (BUSD) strengthened 0.01 percent in the last 24 hours, keeping its price at the USD 1.00 level.

As for the overall crypto market capitalization today, it is at the level of USD 2.04 trillion or equivalent to IDR 32,176 trillion, down around 2.24 percent in the last day.
