During the Anti-Japanese War, Yun Hongshen unknowingly pursues his father’s killer, only to fall into a trap set by “Black Butler”, a Japanese spy who has been undercover in China for 15 years. With the help of a close family friend and guidance from the Communist Party, Yun Hongshen joins forces with the patriotic young Wen Yeming to expose the spies hiding in the Nationalist army. Together, they set up intricate counter-traps, overcoming personal vendettas to help turn the tide of the war.
To occupy Changsha, the Japanese turn to the “black butler”, a strategic agent who has been lurking in China for 15 years to carry out a long-planned deception. Yun Mu Zhi, a member of the Communist Party of China’s underground party, is killed while investigating the “black butler”. Unaware of his father’s true identity, his son Yun Hong Shen returns to his hometown of Changsha to track down his father’s killer.
