Defeated by Bologna, AS Roma fired Ivan Juric
Rome, Beritasatu.com – AS Roma fired coach Ivan Juric. This man from Croatia was fired after the 2-3 home defeat to Bologna in the Italian Serie A League, Sunday (10/11/2024).
Ivan Juric replaced the popular Daniele De Rossi last September but has not changed Roma’s fortunes.
The Giallorossi are in 12th position in the Italian League standings and are only four points ahead of the relegation zone.
“We would like to thank Ivan Juric for his hard work over the last few weeks,” Roma said in a statement.
“He handled a difficult environment with the utmost professionalism, and for that we thank him. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
The search for a new head coach has begun and Roma will make an announcement in the coming days.
Claudio Ranieri and Roberto Mancini have been linked as potential new coaches for Roma, who could also re-employ De Rossi, who is still under contract with the club. De Rossi was hired last January to replace Jose Mourinho.
