Defeated by Korean Doubles in China Masters Final, Sabar/Reza: Jin/Seo’s Ball is Difficult

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Indonesian men’s doubles Sabar Karyaman/Moh Reza Pahlevi said that Korean doubles Jin Yong/Seo Seung Jae made things difficult for them when appearing in the 2024 China Masters final, Sunday (24/11/2024).

In the final of the China Masters which was held at the Shenzhen Gymnasium, Sabar/Reza were defeated by the Korean doubles Jin/Seo with a score of 16-21 and 16-21.

“From the pattern of play, the opponent is superior. We didn’t enjoy playing. Honestly, I don’t really like meeting Seo Seung Jae, his football is quite difficult. “Earlier, several times my anticipation was wrong, so I was constantly depressed,” said Reza.

With Sabar Reza’s defeat at the hands of Korean doubles Jin Yong/Seo Seung Jae in the final of the 2024 China Masters badminton tournament, Indonesia had to return to Indonesia without a champion title.

“Very grateful to be able to reach the Super 750 final even though the results were not as expected. Sorry we didn’t win but we tried our best today. “Hopefully in the future we can continue to be consistent and achieve better results,” said Sabar.

After appearing at the 2024 China Masters, both of them will focus on returning to their previous condition. “Before going to the World Tour Finals, we want to focus on getting back into shape. “I had a bad feeling in my shoulder after yesterday’s semifinal, Reza also felt a little bad in his legs and waist,” added Sabar.

Indonesia previously failed to win the men’s singles. Indonesia’s last hope in men’s singles, Jonatan Christie, had to acknowledge the toughness of Danish men’s singles Anders Antonsen.

Jonatan Christie said that the final result at the 2024 China Masters was not enough for him, because what he wanted was the championship title.

“Some matches have quite good results, but getting to the semifinals or final is not enough if you don’t win. “That’s what’s still bothering me,” said Jonatan Christie.

Jonatan Christie had to acknowledge the greatness of Danish player Anders Antonsen 15-21 and 13-21 in the 2024 China Masters final. He also had to settle for being runner up.
