Defeating Yuso Yogyakarta, Phinisi Challenges Jenggolo in the Final of the 2024 U-19 National Volleyball Championship

Lampung, Beritasatu.com – Overthrowing Yuso Yogyakarta, Lampung Phinisi challenged the Jenggolo Sport Sidoarjo women’s volleyball team in the final of the 2024 U-19 National Volleyball Championship, Saturday (14/12/2024).

In front of a packed audience at GOR Siger, Bandar Lampung, Phinisi defeated Yuso Yogyakarta with a score of 3-0 (25-12, 25-22 and 25-21) in the semifinals of the 2024 U-19 National Volleyball Championship.

Phinisi players played an interesting game. They seem unafraid of the great name of Yuso Yogyakarta, the oldest club in Indonesia. Yuso, a team that was founded in 1952, was rendered helpless in the face of attacks launched by Phinisi.

Phinisi’s defense was also very strong, they were able to withstand the attacks made by Maradanti Namira and friends.

“I instructed the children to play freely, there is no need to be afraid of the Yuso players. “The children played with enthusiasm, especially in front of many supporters,” said Phinisi coach, Eva Yulianti.

Yuso’s coach, Suwido, said that his team played with a bad performance. This is different from when they beat Petrokimia Gresik Pupuk Indonesia the day before.

“It’s like there is no communication in the field. Phinisi is also amazing. “We will evaluate everything,” said Suwido.

Meanwhile, Jenggolo won with a score of 3-2 (20-25, 25-21, 25-14, 26-28 and 15-6) when they met Kharisma Premium in the semifinals of the 2024 U-19 National Volleyball Championship.
