Discord removes 4-digit tags in user usernames, now uses a system similar to Instagram and Twitter
Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Discord has just announced a major change which is deprecating tags four digits on username the user. This information was announced by Discord via a post blogs official.
With this change, all users are required to replace username they. Instead of using tags discriminator (#0000), Discord users can create username with an alphanumeric form ‘@username’.
“usernames new consists of lowercase letters, alphanumeric, is limited to certain special characters, and has no discriminator, making it easier to remember, read, type, and share.
The post also mentioned limitations username Discord files must be between 2 and 32 characters long, not combine upper and lower case letters, have no special characters other than underscores and periods, and comply with community guidelines. That way, the username will be similar to Twitter and Instagram.
These changes will be rolled out gradually over the next few weeks. According to the company, users who previously had accounts can receive change access username faster, compared to a new account.
