Donald Trump Ready to Compete with China to Make US a Crypto Hub

Trump said he would form a presidential crypto advisory council and create a national bitcoin reserve using cryptocurrency currently held by the U.S. government, much of which was seized in law enforcement actions.

“Never sell your bitcoin. If elected, the policy of my administration, the United States, will be to hold 100% of all bitcoins currently held or acquired by the U.S. government in the future,” he said.

Trump added he would like to see more bitcoin mining by US companies, even though he called the cryptocurrency a scam in 2021.
