While the atmosphere on r/wallstreetbets is intense, the community also exhibits a relatively high level of lexical diversity, indicating complex discussions amidst the community’s high-energy exchanges.

Profanity is another area of ​​focus, with r/wallstreetbets leading the way in the use of colorful language, with an average of 107.1 expletives per 1,000 posts. This is followed by r/CryptoCurrency. The frequent use of expletives in these subreddits may reflect the stress and volatility often associated with day trading and crypto investing.
