Meanwhile, the Head of the Center for Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis (PPATK), Ivan Yustiavandana, revealed that there are more than 1000 legislative members, both central and regional, who play online gambling.

“Yes, we found that more than 1,000 people (central and regional legislative members played online gambling),” said Ivan, during a working meeting with Commission III DPR RI, in Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (26/6/2024).

Ivan explained that of the 1,000 people consisting of members of the DPR RI, DPRD and Secretariat of the Secretary General, more than 63 thousand transactions were recorded.

“So there were more than 1,000 people, the DPRD DPRD and the secretary general's secretariat were there and the transactions we photographed were more than 63,000 transactions carried out by them,” he said.

Furthermore, Ivan explained that the transactions carried out by the legislative members reached a total of IDR 25 billion in total.

“And the figure, the rupiah figure is almost IDR 25 billion, yes, transactions between them, from hundreds to billions,” he said.
