Eliano, the younger brother of AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, has Maluku blood from his mother’s lineage, while his father is from the Netherlands. This 24 year old player officially became an Indonesian citizen (WNI) after taking the citizenship oath on September 30 2024.

As a versatile player, Eliano is able to play in the position of wing attacker or wing defender. He made his debut with the Garuda team on October 10 2024 against Bahrain in the third round of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup in the Asian zone.

Not only shining in the national team, Eliano Reijnders also made achievements with his club, PEC Zwolle. Last week, he reached an extraordinary milestone by playing his 100th match for the club that made his name.
