Entrepreneur says he wants to buy Dessers for Feyenoord at any price,

Feyenoord may get help from unexpected quarters if the revelation Cyriel Dessers wants to take over permanently from KRC Genk. The Rotterdam entrepreneur Dennis de Roo tells TodaysGist on Monday that he wants to put down big money for it.

If Feyenoord wants to permanently sign the rented Dessers, 4 million euros must be paid. Supporters have already started a fundraiser, with which almost 50,000 euros have now been raised.

“It is serious that we want to invest. How and what should still be agreed at Feyenoord. We are waiting to see if Feyenoord is open to funding from an external party like us at all,” De Roo told Rijnmond.

“We would do that directly with Feyenoord, in support of this action. This would give it some room on the rest of the budget, also for other players. But the ball is in Feyenoord’s court.”

For the time being, it is unclear whether Feyenoord can accept De Roo’s money at all from a legal point of view. In any case, the entrepreneur does not shy away from any amount. “It could also be the full blow.”

Dessers is a sensation at Feyenoord this season. The Belgian with Nigerian roots scored many important goals, especially in the Conference League. With ten hits, he is the top scorer of the third European club tournament.
