Erik ten Hag Becomes the Butt of the Bully After Being Beaten by Liverpool, 2 Manchester United Officials Take Action

Previously, Erik ten Hag had also spoken out in response to Manchester United’s defeat to Liverpool. He implied that it was still a bit early to label his team a failure because MU had only entered the third week of England.

The Dutch tactician is also optimistic that his players can bring revival to the Red Devils if given time to reach their best performance level at Old Trafford.

“This is only the third game of the season, (while) we still have to build a new team. We have some young players, and there are three of our players who have just appeared as starters for the first time this season, with them not playing 90 minutes yet,” said Ten Hag, as reported by SportsMole from The Sun.

“With Ugarte, we also have to build him into the team. It takes time. I’m not Harry Potter, you have to admit that. And if you look at Manuel Ugarte, he hasn’t played once this season. So he needs to build his fitness first, while we build the team.”

“And I am sure he (Manuel Ugarte) will contribute to us and he will be an important player (for United). But it will take weeks, or even months. The same goes for other players, (like) Joshua Zirkzee who has only made big steps in the last three to four weeks,” added Ten Hag.
