Facing Defending Champion Petrokimia in the Livoli Final, the Indonesian Navy Wants to Play Without Burden

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – The Indonesian Navy women’s volleyball team wants to play carefree when they challenge defending champion Petrokimia Gresik Pupuk Indonesia in the grand final of Livoli Main Division 2024, Friday (22/11/2024) at GOR Tri Dharma, Gresik.

TNI AL coach M Anshori said that the team he trains will play freely in the 2024 Livoli final against Petrokimia. “I ask the children to play without burden in the grand final,” said Anshori when contacted, Thursday (21/11/2024).

According to Anshori, the team he manages has achieved its target by entering the grand final of Livoli 2024. “We have actually achieved our target by entering the final. However, because it is already the final, we are trying to win the title,” added the former coach of the Indonesian women’s national team.

However, Anshori hopes that Tisya Ammalya Putri et al will not be burdened by having to win the 2024 Livoli final.

According to Petrokimia coach Ayub Hidayat, his team is determined to win the title again, as they achieved last year. “Thank God, the children’s condition is fine,” said Ayub.

Ayub further said that the players consistently performed as usual and were not burdened. During the final four, Livoli Premier Division 2024, both the first and second rounds, are undefeated. Even with fantastic scores, four times it ended 3-0, once 3-1, and once 3-2.

“We are all determined to achieve victory in the Livoli grand final,” said Ayub.

In the 2024 Livoli Premier Division season, the two teams have a draw. The Indonesian Navy won twice in the first regular round in Cibinong, Bogor Regency. Furthermore, in the final four it was Petrokimia’s turn to win twice.

The champion in this year’s Livoli Premier Division will receive a rotating trophy, a permanent trophy and a coaching prize of IDR 50 million. Meanwhile, second place is IDR 30 million, third place is IDR 25 million, and fourth place is IDR 20 million. Apart from that, the best player (MVP) and the best players in their respective positions will be selected.
