Future at Liverpool Unclear, Mohamed Salah Tempted by PSG
Liverpool, Beritasatu.com – Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool is unclear considering he only has six months left on his contract. Despite having put in the best performance of his career so far for Liverpool this season, Mohamed Salah has yet to decide on his future at Anfield.
Salah confirmed he would not sign anything with The RedsLiverpool’s nickname. “We are still far from that (contract) and I don’t want to report anything in the media,” said Salah after the 5-0 win over West Ham last week. Four-Four Two.
“The only thing on my mind is that I want Liverpool to win the league and I want to be part of that,” he continued.
Negotiations are still ongoing, but with the January transfer window now open, he is free to discuss his future with clubs outside England ahead of a proposed free transfer in the summer. One of the clubs reportedly interested in bringing in the player from Egypt is the French club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
According to French journalist Romain Collet Gaudin, PSG really wants to bring Mohamed Salah to Paris next season. PSG have offered him a deal worth £415,000-a-week on a three-year contract.
Instead, Liverpool only want to pay Salah £330,000-a-week and only extend his contract for another two years. Mohamed Salah would prefer to continue his career at Anfield, but with such a lucrative offer on the table, Liverpool may find it difficult to compete.
