Galaxy S24 FE Listed on Certification Site, Sign of Launch Getting Closer?

Recently, the Galaxy S24 FE was spotted on an electronic device certification site in India. This appearance indicates that the official launch of the phone is just a matter of time.

According to a report by 91mobiles, Tuesday (19/8/2024), the Galaxy S24 FE has been registered on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site.

In the listing, the phone has the model number SM-S721B/DS, which matches the model number that appears on the official Samsung Galaxy S24 FE support page.

Unfortunately, the BIS site does not provide further details regarding the specifications or design of the Galaxy S24 FE. However, based on the global launch pattern of Android phones, it is likely that the Galaxy S24 FE will be released later this year.

Regarding the leaked specifications, the Galaxy S24 FE will be armed with the Exynos 2400e chipset and run One UI 6.1.1 supported by Galaxy AI Suite.

The smartphone will also come with an aluminum frame to give it a premium feel. The 6.7-inch display has a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits.

For protection, there is Gorilla Glass Victus+ protective glass. For photography, overall, there are four cameras owned by the S24 FE.

There is a 50MP main lens, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capability. Plus, a 10MP front camera for selfie needs.
